Extract of income and gains from a partnership
We advised a member of a hedge fund partnership and shareholder in a private company corporate member
on the income tax and capital gains tax implications on leaving the structure.
We also drafted the settlement agreement delivery our client gains of in excess of £2,000,000. obtained
clearance from HMRC on the capital taxes aspects, and dealt with income extraction from an off-shore trust vehicle operated by the hedge fund.
