Extraction of income and gains
We advised a member of a hedge fund LLP and shareholder in a private company which was a corporate member of the LLP on the income tax and capital gains tax implications on leaving the structure. We also drafted the settlement agreement, obtained clearance from HMRC on the capital taxes aspects, and dealt with income extraction from an off-shore trust vehicle operated by the hedge fund.
