Compromise agreement for director departure
We advised the employer on a compromise agreement for a board director leaving a major multi-national. Our advice included dealing with employment law in different jurisdictions, termination payments, payments due under executive share plans, forfeiture of bonus payments and post termination restrictions including restraint of trade covenants. We agreed the timing of the departure and press announcements.
