Employment contract review
We reviewed the proposed employment contract for a city executive looking to change jobs and lead
a team move on a salary of over £500,000.per annum plus a significant sign on bonus.
Our advice included suggestions of guaranteeing payment of the bonus, negotiating for shares in the
new employer company, protection againist claims for breach of covenant and consporacy on team move.
We reviewed the garden leave and notice provisions to advise on the length of time our client could
be out of the market.
