Gannons advises on the sale of Pocket Risk

Gannons represented the shareholders of Pocket Risk on the sale of some of their business assets to a Dubai based investment fund. 

Pocket Risk is a fintech company behind a leading online platform analysing financial risk tolerance, and which can be found at The acquisition was completed in Q4 2017.

Motivations for the sale

The sale was the result of a strategic portfolio-building acquisition. The sale of IP assets is a common way for overseas investors to get a foot through the door on the UK tech market.
