I am an Associate solicitor in the Immigration Team. I represent individuals and their family members who wish to come to, or remain in the UK, as well as businesses who wish to employ talent from outside the European Economic Area. My other area of expertise is employment law acting for employers and employees.

Expertise

I have experience in all areas of immigration and nationality law and have worked with clients from a broad range of backgrounds. I am therefore able to find the best solution for your specific circumstances. My areas of expertise include:

EEA visas

There are approximately 3 million European migrants in the UK, the vast majority of which contribute positively to the UK economy. In these times of uncertainty, created by Brexit, the Gannon’s immigration team provides advice and assists European migrants and their family members to secure their position in the UK. I follow the Brexit negotiations closely and am therefore able to provide up-to-date advice to my clients.

Business immigration

It is important to bring new ideas and innovation to the UK from all over the world. I help businesses acquire the means of bringing non-European Economic Area employees to the UK. I also represent individuals who wish to come to the UK as employees, entrepreneursinvestors or exceptional talents.

I also assist non-European Economic Area individuals who wish to come to the UK as temporary workers or under the youth mobility scheme.

Family members

Globalisation has not only made it possible to do business globally, it has also meant that people choose partners from all over the world. I regularly assist British citizens and individuals in the UK on other visas, who wish to bring their non-European Economic Area partners and children to the UK, and ensure that this often stressful time passes as smoothly as possible.

Employment law

Employment law is fascinating bringing a mix of law, strategy and also important interaction with people.  I can handle most matters that hit my desk from contract review, negotiation and dealing with settlement agreements.

Why I love my job

Being a dual German and Cypriot citizen myself and having decided to make the UK my home, I feel passionately about immigration and the benefits it brings not only to the individual, but also to a business, and the UK as whole. I am impressed with the Gannon global vision and reach.
