Senior Associate, corporate transactions and re-organisations

Background

I am a qualified corporate & commercial solicitor with over 10 years’ experience advising a wide range of UK and international clients on a variety of corporate & commercial legal issues.

Having worked at international law firms as well as smaller regional and boutique law firms means I am used to dealing with companies and businesses of all sizes, from start-up and SMEs to public listed companies, and in different industries.

Experience

My experience includes:

  • Advising on setting up businesses;
  • Company law issues;
  • Shareholders’ agreements, articles of association and LLP agreements;
  • Buying and selling of businesses and private company shares;
  • Share buy backs;
  • Banking documents such as loan agreements and debentures; and
  • Commercial agreements including terms and conditions, confidentiality agreement and heads of terms.

Why I love my job

I get a real buzz from being involved in, and being a part of, a client’s business journey whether it at the beginning when they are starting out, or to watch them grow and advising them on any legal issues and challenges they may face from time to time, and, when a client decides it is time to exit their business venture, ensuring they are well protected and properly rewarded for their hard work. It gives me real satisfaction knowing I played a part in that journey.
